Like a classic Arnold Palmer, but with 19g of clean, clear pea protein!
There’s a good reason why peaches work so well in an Arnold Palmer drink. Black tea has that dry, almost sunbaked bitterness, lemonade brings the sharp hit of citrus, and peach slides right in the middle as a flavor balancer. It softens and highlights the drink without making it feel overly sweet or bland.
In this version, the peach doesn’t just sit on top as a taste modifier; this summer fruit also acts as a main flavor. It blends into the tea, rounds out the lemon’s zesty profile, and turns the whole drink into a refreshing beverage that tastes brighter. The addition of peach purée gives a real fruit experience, while 19g of Clear Plant Protein in Lemon Ice flavor blends just as smoothly.
This is exactly the kind of drink made for peak summer heat, and the kind of drink you finish before the ice even has time to melt.
Ingredients
-
200 mL cold brewed black tea
-
200 mL lemonade
-
2 tablespoons peach purée
Garnishes
-
Thin slices of peach
-
Lemon wedge
-
Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
-
Prepare a strong base using your preferred black tea. Good options include English Breakfast tea, Ceylon tea, or Assam tea. Steep the tea slightly stronger than usual, so the flavor remains bold once diluted with ice and lemonade.
-
Allow the tea to cool completely, then refrigerate until cold.
-
In a shaker bottle or large mixing jar, add 200mL cold black tea, 1 scoop Clear Plant Protein - Peach Tea, and 2 tablespoons peach purée. Seal the shaker tightly and shake virgorously for about 20-30 seconds.
-
Fill a tall glass generously with ice. Pour the peach tea protein mixture over ice.
-
Slowly add 200 mL chilled lemonade. Adjust the lemonade depending on how sweet or tarty you want the final drink to taste.
-
Stir gently to combine all the flavors. For an extra summery touch, garnish with fresh peach slices, a lemon wedge, and mint leaves.
-
Serve immediately while cold.
